Some prominent experienced Lyme physicians maintain that full recovery from Lyme disease is not possible without a regular and intensive weight lifting regimen.

One such clinician is Joseph Burrascano, M.D, who has recommended weight-lifting sessions of at least 45 minutes duration, even if this entails very minimal weight amounts in those severely debilitated.

As with all patients, Lyme clinicians recommend clearing any exercise regime with a primary care doctor or cardiologist before commencing.
