The Jennifer Jaff Center

January 27, 2015

The Jennifer Jaff Center is a non-profit center devoted to helping those with chronic illnesses obtain resources and advocate for their rights with insurance agencies, employers, and government organizations.

Started by Jennifer Jaff, an attorney who waged a life-long battle against Crohn’s disease and who died from its complications in 2012, the center has staff that aids several thousand patients a year.

In addition to helping individual clients appeal insurance decisions, appy for social security disability, and negotiate reasonable workplace accomodations, the center advocates on a public policy level through research, lobbying, and education.

The services are free.
