L. Skip Marcucci, MD, is a board-certified surgeon, critical care physician, integrative medicine physician, and acupuncturist who over the last twenty-five years has cared for hundreds of patients with Lyme disease and the associated co-infections.

Dr. Marcucci graduated from Jefferson Medical College and completed fellowships in Transplant Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Surgical Critical Care at John Hopkins University, and Integrative Medicine in the Andrew Weil, MD, program at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Skip has completed physician acupuncture training at the Helms”™ Institute and also through the Harvard University International Structural Acupuncture Course for Physicians. Skip is also currently completing medical hypnosis training through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is pursuing intensive study in herbal medicine under Dr. Tieraona Low Dog in the New Foundations Course in Herbal Medicine.

In addition, Dr. Skip has authored or edited ten medical textbooks centering on pathology and patient safety.
